InterContinental Jordan, a wholly owned property of Zara Investment Holdings, and managed by InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG®) will be undergoing large scale renovation projects during the last six months of 2018 and beyond. The scope of work entails the immediate renovation of the famous Bourj Al Hamam restaurant’s kitchen and interior, a brand new resurfaced outdoor pool as well as complete renovation of the exterior pool deck with a newly reconstructed staircase leading to the upper outdoor terrace. This project is scheduled to be completed by mid-June 2018. Further refashioning will be taking place in the hotel’s lobby to include a “facelift” of the all-day dining Atrium restaurant and by adding an additional dining experience in the form of a Japanese SOBA outlet within the vibrant lobby area. Deeper pipeline renovations also include a Winter Garden on the hotel’s terrace to cater for an all year round outdoor event and dining experience. A new carpet will be laid in the 2,220m2 Ballroom and Riwaq banqueting spaces to enhance the ambiance of this very popular wedding and conferencing space. The hotel is planning to renovate and upgrade all 123 Classic rooms which forms part of the total 440 inventory capacity of the iconic InterContinental Jordan.
