Mohamed Fayoumi, Regional Director of Engineering at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in Jordan, has obtained the Green Globe Auditor certification in June 2011.
Fayoumi started his career in Mövenpick Nabatean Castle Hotel in 2000 and later moved on to the Gulf Region where he worked for a few years before coming back to Jordan in 2009 to assume his current role.
After managing the certification process for Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea, Fayoumi decided to further enhance his expertise in the field of sustainabiltiy. He successfully completed the Green Globe Auditor training progam which include online courses dealing with all areas of the Green Globe certification standards such as: sustainability management, social and economic standards, cultural heritage and environmental standards and was recently certified as the first Green Globe Auditor at Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts.
